Croatian Economy, Labor, & Entrepreneurship Minister Branko Vukelic said they target a trade volume of 1 billion USD with Turkey. Attending a meeting hosted by the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK) in İstanbul yesterday, Vukelic reminded that trade volume between Turkey and Croatia is about 330 million USD.

“This figure does not reflect the potential. We are here to  invite Turkish companies to Croatia. We want to see Turkey as an economic partner country,” Vukelic said.
Noting that Croatia needs significant investments in industry, Vukelic said his country is eager to ensure business opportunities. Vukelic pointed out the 3.2 percent inflation rate in the country and underscored sound macro-economic conditions in Croatia.
Vukelic said they want cooperation with Turkey particularly in energy and railroad industry.
