SunExpress starts flights to London from Antalya

SunExpress, a Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa joint venture, plans to immediately start direct flights between London and Antalya, a tourist hub on the Mediternanean coast of Turkey. The flights, to be launched on Feb. 8, will run Mondays and Thursdays and will land at London’s Stansted Airport, a SunExpress release said. Air fares will start from 29 euros, tax excluded. “We are thrilled to launch our new Antalya-London service,” said Paul Schwaiger, SunExpress general manager.  He said they would try to increase the number of English tourist visiting Antalya and that residents and fans of both cities would benefit. The flights will be jointly operated with Turkish Airlines at 7:05 a.m. from Antalya and 10:30 am from London –Stansted Airport– local time with Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
