Rabbit Island for sale

In the Marmara region, Rabbit Island (Mavria Island) near Bozcaada is on sale for $10 million.
The island is approximately 800,000 square meters and situated one nautical mile north of Bozcaada. It has historic ruins that date back to 1000-1300. A point of attraction with for divers with its crystal-clear water, endless sunken ruins and rich wildlife, the island is known as Donkey Island among locals.
Previously used for stockbreeding the island with a lighthouse, two docks and natural springs is desolated now. Taking its name after the thousands of rabbits that live on the island, Rabbit Island with its small isles and coves is considered a potential center for tourism.
The property owner who wants to remain anonymous reportedly made a move to open this land to tourism and development.
Upon the owner’s request, Rabbit Island is on sale now for $10 million by a real estate agent in Istanbul. Earlier attempts to sell this island through tenders had failed.
Island’s condition:
Rabbit Island has no infrastructure and electricity and transportation is only available by private boats. However, during summer special tours are organized for divers.
