Turkish State Railways received four different offers for the privatization of the İzmir harbor.The offers were made by the Alsancak joint initiative group, Babcock and Brown, and PSA-Akfen joint initiative group, Çelebi Holding, and Global Hutchison and EIB joined in an initiative group. The officers will be evaluated on Monday, April 2 although the evaluation process could be delayed because of technical formalities. The winner must provide an investment committal. After the evaluation the firms will be scheduled for an interview, where investors will be allowed to pose questions. Once the firms declare their offers, negotiation meetings will begin.
