Fiat Group CEO Sergio Marchionne said the likelihood the new Doblo would be produced in Turkey was above 50 percent. Speaking at the launch ceremony for Fiat’s new Linea, Marchionne said discussions on the issue were still continuing.“But our relationship with Tofaş [Fiat co-producer in Turkey] and Turkey’s location make us think this is the right place for the job,” he said. Marchionne added that the Linea showed their commitment to global development. “Now, we are looking at the world in a different way; our local partners are very important,” he stated, adding that after the Bravo, the Linea was their second new model in a year. “This is the indicator of Fiat’s speed,” he said.
