Ela Quality Resort Hotel, a luxury facilities that caters to families, opened Sunday in Antalya. The new hotel features many novelties, including a new service concept: Only couples between 30-55 with children can stay during the summer. In the winter the establishment will focus on health and sports tourism. Ahmet Çolakoğlu, general manager of the hotel, said Antalya is home to thousands of hotels and different ones will outlast others. He described the hotel’s unique characteristics, particularly its special facilities for children. They check in at a different desk when they come to the hotel with their families. The children can play with their peers the entire day at the Mini Club, while families can check up on them at any place in the hotel through TV monitors. He also believes their hotel is particularly sensitive to Turkey’s shared cultural heritage. “We took Turkish culture and values into consideration while forming the concept of the hotel,” Çolakoğlu said. “We have an identity, we have values, which have been formed over thousands of years — of family, cuisine, relations, hospitality, etc. We accept them all without any complex. We highlighted Turkish values for every single detail, from architecture to rooms, from the workers to food.” He believes Ela Hotel will be the place where Turkish hospitality will be fully actualized. “Instead of competition, we intend to create our own race track. Turkey is not yet a sufficient a brand for tourism but we believe will will reach out goal,” he said. The hotel will provide alternative 15-day health tourism packages, including dental and optometry services carried out by an excellent medical institution.
