GSM operator Eagle Mobile, a subsidiary of Albania’s telecommunications firm ALBTelecom, will be operational as of March 13th, 2008.
Turkish Calik Group owns 76 percent of the shares of ALBTelecom.

Ali Taskin, general manager of Eagle Mobile, said the company will be operational in Tirana and Durres cities of Albania as of March 13th.

“By summer, Eagle Mobile would be serving the whole country,” Taskin noted.

“We look at ourselves as a local company doing business in Albania. Eagle Mobile will serve clients with the latest technology. Eagle Mobile will help the connection of cellular phones to internet easily,” Taskin stressed.
