The unemployment rate in Turkey has been recorded as 10.1 percent in November 2007, Turkish Board of Statistics (TUIK) said on Friday.

TUIK said unemployment rate was 9.6 percent a year ago (in November 2006).

TUIK added that unemployment in urban areas stood at 12 percent while it was 7.1 percent in rural areas.
