Turkish-Austrian Economic Forum

Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu has said TOBB expects to see more cooperation with Austrian-based firms and more Austrian investment in Turkey.
The Turkish-Austrian Economic Forum, organized by the Turkish-Austrian Business Council, which operates under the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK), was held in İstanbul yesterday. Speaking at the forum Hisarcıklıoğlu said foreign investments were important for Turkey’s development and that more than $50 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI) had come into Turkey over the last three years as a result of reforms improving the business and investment environment.
